The program will be aired on April 18 at 8:00pm. Lorren, due to his endeavor to unite the world through food, will be the guest commentator at Park Secrets.
The Travel Channel intends to present eight docu-series which will entertain and motivate the audience to travel to new places and discover special cuisines. Park Secrets takes its audiences around the nation’s most popular park destinations to reveal exotic food dishes, unique hotels and enjoy some secret adventures that can take place in only a path rarely treaded.
Keith Lorren, in addition to being a chef, is an entrepreneur and popular television personality. He has travelled round the globe to countries, such as China, Japan, the UAE and Greece, exploring cultures and traditional food, cooking for people and also learning new cuisines.
Lorren prides himself on having “invented cooking”. He believes, not in cooking dishes with fancy and difficult-to-pronounce names, but in making “finger-licking, lip-smacking” cuisines that “grandma’s made” with a special Keith Lorren touch. To this end, he has created a range of spices that can be used for barbeque, poultry, steak, seafood and roasted garlic chipotle seasoning.
Keith Lorren has launched a recipe contest with the aim of encouraging newbies by providing a good platform for them to showcase their talent. Through this contest, Lorren is looking to present a gift cash for $2,000 or a scholarship, to an individual who specializes in preparing cultural cuisines. About Keith: Lorren baked his first cookie when he was five. By the time he turned 12, he had perfected his baking skills and by 15, he was already serving desserts at three restaurants. After working as a teacher, motivational speaker, computer programmer and garment manufacturer for international companies, Keith Lorren discovered that his heart lay in cooking.
