All Online Customers Earn a Prepaid bopo Visa Card
5 Nights in Phuket with Flights from Only $1110.
Online discount travel agent, Direct Flights International, is offering a prepaid Visa card to all online customers as part of its bid to provide more online and offline ways to pay for travel than any other online booking engine.
Aimed at the 55 per cent of Australians who don’t have a credit card and those who have ‘maxed out’ their cards, the wide choice of payment options – now numbering seven - include convenient methods not usually available on travel sites such as POLi, Western Union Money Transfer and offline systems such as Bpay, Australia Post Billpay, bank cheque and Direct Deposit, in addition to conventional credit cards.
Based in Australia, Direct Flights – www.directflights.com.au - is the first travel website to add POLi (Pay OnLine) to its expanding choice of payments. POLi is an eftpos-like system that allows Australians to buy flights and other packages online using their bank accounts, thus avoiding credit card surcharges.
Direct Flights Marketing Director Grant Symonds said the rapidly growing company was determined to make travel easier and more affordable than ever before.
“Most other travel websites offer a choice of credit cards to pay but at Direct Flights, we believe this is no choice at all,” Mr Symonds says.
“In the past, travellers didn’t have any other choice of payment method online and had to incur the surcharges, fees and interest charges that go with credit cards. And then there are the 55 per cent of Australians who don’t have credit cards or any available credit. Direct Flights offers everyone lots of ways to pay easily and quickly, including convenient offline methods such as paying for flights at the post office.”
Special Offer – Prepaid Visa Card
Until June 30, every traveller who purchases flights or travel products on the award-winning directflights.com.au website will earn a Direct Flights bopo prepaid Visa card which offers the convenience of a normal VISA card but only uses money loaded onto it. The reloadable cards provide a safe and easy way to make purchases, do not require bank accounts and are free of interest charges and annual fees.
