Sultry Voiced, Songstress Deborah Silver Duets with 2x Grammy-Winning Vocalist
South Florida vocalist Deborah Silver, winner of 100.3 FM Legends Radio, Legend to be Award, transports listeners to an era of sophistication and grace with her new CD, The Gold Standards to be released this September 16th.
Deborah Silver’s second full-length album The Gold Standards, was produced by Steve Tyrell, who has worked with such legends as Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Mary J Blige, Rod Stewart and Ray Charles. On this album, Silver duets with the iconic two-time Grammy-winning vocalist Jack Jones (of Love Boat theme song fame) on an addicting version of “I’ve Got a Crush on You”.
Hailing from the birthplace of the blues, Mississippi, Deborah is a natural born entertainer, best expressed by music critic Will Friedwald (Wall Street Journal) stating “I was pulled in by the personality, the charisma — the life force. Deborah is a miraculously three-dimensional performer, which is to say that she hardly sings every song the same way, but there’s an engaging upbeat quality in everything she sings.”
Deborah founded SLAM ALS www.slamals.org (aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease) which is working in conjunction with the 501(c)3 charity, Project ALS, to raise funds to slam ALS out of existence. She started this fundraising effort in honor of her sister Marjie who is currently battling this disease. For SLAM ALS, Silver alongside her daughter Madison, successfully engaged A-Listers to “show how they slam ALS” including talk show legend Larry King, rapper and television personality Vanilla Ice, 18-time Grand Slam singles Champion Chris Evert, legendary Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor and Miami Heat Captain and power forward Udonis Haslem to help raise money for a cure.
On September 16th, Deborah Silver will officially release The Gold Standards and will be donating 100% of the net proceeds of sales from that day to ALS research in honor of ALS patients everywhere.
