On September 6, 2017, Tri-C contacted the company to create a custom frying basket and cooking tub to cook the world’s largest pierogi, made by the school's culinary students on September 16, 2017. The pierogi weighed in at 215.5 pounds, breaking the previous world record of 200 pounds. The pierogi was made by more than 20 students and chef instructors for the Cleveland Eats Culinary Festival.
