EZ Press Release  -- June 16, 2014 Jersey City, NJ, June 13, 2014: Dr. Margaret Nichols of the Institute for Personal Growth, or IPG Counseling, is pleased to announce she brings her extensive experience to her work, allowing her to help her patients achieve the personal growth they are looking for.

Dr. Nichols founded IPG Counseling in 1983 because she wanted to help individuals deal with the mental aspect of sexuality and their personal lives. She is a licensed psychologist, as well as a Diplomate in sex therapy, giving her the background necessary to help individuals with a variety of issues. She has also been involved in founding several other organizations, including the Women’s Center of Monmouth County in 1976 and the Hyacinth HIV Foundation in 1985. Through her work, she has reached out to and helped many patients in this often difficult area of life.

In addition to her work in counseling individuals to achieve personal growth, especially in the area of sexuality, Dr. Nichols is an internationally published author and speaker. She has been published by the Oxford University Press and has contributed chapters to several books, including Lesbian Psychologies and Principles and Practices of Sex Therapy. She received her Ph.D. from Columbia University and has a post-doctoral degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Nichols maintains memberships with the top organizations in her field, such as the American Psychological Association, the Society for Sex Therapy and Research and the World Professional Association of Transgender Health.
