EZ Press Release  -- August 16, 2017 First Coast Foot & Ankle clinic have recently welcomed a new member to our team, Dr. Jeffrey Brimmer. He began Tuesday August 1st as our newest Podiatrist, he will be a key asset to helping provide our patients with the highest quality care and treatment options for their foot or ankle problems.

Dr. Jeffrey Brimmer was raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. Dr. Brimmer practices conservative care before recommending any surgical intervention and welcomes patients of all ages. Dr. Brimmer specializes in heel and ankle pain, bunions, hammer toes, ingrown toe nails, warts, and sports injuries to the foot and ankle.

He attended Barry University in Miami, Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Brimmer then worked as a surgical technologist in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he was exposed to multiple surgical specialties, including foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Brimmer attended the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Brimmer completed his residency at UF Health Jacksonville, a Level One trauma center, where he received extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot surgery and addressed traumatic conditions of the foot and ankle.

In today's medical environment it is easy for a patient to seem lost.
