Jessica first entered the Ben & Jerry’s franchise family in 2002 when she purchased the Boulder location. Since then, she has expanded her business to include shops at the University of Denver (opened in 2019) and Fort Collins (opened in 2022). Under her ownership, the shops have become known for excellent service, creative catering experiences, and strong community ties.
This past April, all of Jessica’s locations participated in Free Cone Day—an annual Ben & Jerry’s tradition that started in 1979—serving thousands of customers while raising funds for local nonprofits. Looking ahead, the Boulder shop is preparing to celebrate its 30th anniversary in December 2025, marking three decades of joyful scoops and neighborhood connection.
Jessica’s franchise locations have consistently earned high praise. Her shops have received the “Heck of a Year” award in 2005, 2016, and 2022. Her leadership has also empowered her team, with general managers receiving the “Manager of the Year” honor in both 2019 and 2024. Notably, Jessica and her team successfully organized a large-scale catering event in 2021 for a corporate client that served 3,000 guests, earning exceptional feedback and being replicated in seven cities nationwide.
