Waxhaw, North Carolina, July 1, 2014: PT Center Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is excited to announce the addition of a new physical therapist at their Waxhaw, NC facility.

Zach Long, a Charlotte, NC, native, attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a BA in Exercise and Sports Science. He has a doctorate in Physical Therapy and is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has worked as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for UNC Chapel Hill and Providence High School.

Dr. Long is a highly experienced physical therapist and has written fitness articles and has had research presented nationally. He is a great addition to the staff at PT Center. He fits in with their goal to ensure quality and excellence in their care to residents of Waxhaw and the surrounding areas. For more than five years, they have helped residents of North Carolina recover from issues like orthopedic injuries. Their therapists are also experts in the area of sports medicine. They are trained in Graston, McKenzie MDT Therapy and the Functional Movement System (FMS).
