Total Maintenance Pro, a Central New Jersey landscaping and drainage company, is continuing to grow through community involvement, improved technology, and new approaches to property maintenance.
In September, the company launched “Drainages of Hope,” a community giveaway providing a free professional drainage project to a local family. For several weeks, the Total Maintenance Pro team shared flyers, contacted family and friends, and promoted the giveaway online to encourage nominations. Lisa and her husband, both local music teachers in the Bridgewater-Raritan school community, were ultimately selected. Their home, built in 1880, had experienced ongoing basement water problems. Lisa shared that she and her husband were extremely grateful to have been nominated and selected, and described working with Marvin and the Total Maintenance Pro team as an amazing experience. “We wanted to use what we do every day to help someone in our own community,” said Marvin Barrantes, Owner of Total Maintenance Pro. “Lisa and her husband give so much to others, so it felt good to be able to give something back.”
Total Maintenance Pro has also begun incorporating artificial intelligence and other technology into its operations to improve organization, communication, and efficiency, while keeping customer service personal.
“We want technology to help our team, not replace the personal relationship with our customers,” Barrantes said.
The company is also meeting with robotic mower manufacturers and evaluating whether the technology could be incorporated into future maintenance services. Total Maintenance Pro is exploring the potential for robotic mowing to reduce operating costs, lower fuel use, and create savings for both the company and its clients.
“We’re always looking for ways to improve the service we provide while staying true to how we built the company,” Barrantes said.
