This project comes on the heels of their transformation of a small chalet in Winhall, VT, into a high performance, energy efficient ski lodge.

Even though these projects are typically reserved for smaller homes, they are attempting to design a five-bedroom home that meets the qualifications for Leed Certified and Energy Star. In order to complete the project, they have purchased 10 acres of land and already installed 700 feet of driveway, designed the septic system, located the well and obtained all of the necessary state approvals. Although the home is in the final stages of its design, they are currently working on securing the needed financing.
