BonziRecording is pleased to announce they were approached by ABC News to be the location of an interview the news station wanted to do with Grammy award winner, The Free Nationals. ABC News inquired about the studio space and whether it could accommodate the appropriate number of people, some cameras and a few instruments, including drums, keyboards and acoustic and electric guitars.

After visiting the studio, the staff chose BonziRecording as the perfect shooting location for the interview with The Free Nationals, which will air as part of an upcoming documentary on R&B performer, Anderson Paak. The Free Nationals will join this artist on a tour later this year. The interview was completed on Friday, February 7, 2020. Upon completion of the interview, the band rewarded the staff at BonziRecording with a mini performance that featured some of the songs they will perform during the tour.

BonziRecording provided the band with a Pearl acoustic drum set, a BMG guitar that was created and designed by Brian May, a Martin Acoustic guitar and a Nektar MIDI keyboard, along with BonziRecording’s console and ProTools Ultimate to ensure minimal latency. The team is excited to see the finished documentary.
